We're a young department established in 2019 under the School of Agriculture and Natural Resource Management. Our goal is to provide skilled land professionals who can serve their communities through various specializations. We also aim to build capacity in land administration organizations.

Welcome to the Department of Land Administration and Surveying at Mattu University, School of Agriculture and Natural Resource Management!
Since its establishment in 2020, our department has experienced remarkable growth. What began with just 13 students and two instructors has evolved into a dynamic and vibrant academic unit that is committed to excellence in land governance, cadastral surveying, geospatial technologies, and sustainable land management. Our department offers a cutting-edge curriculum that combines strong academic foundations with practical, hands-on learning. In our state-of-the-art GIS Laboratory, students acquire essential skills in geographic information systems, preparing them to address modern land challenges with precision and innovation.
Beyond academics, we are a hub of research, industry partnerships, and global collaboration. Our students and faculty contribute to sustainable land management practices and shape policies that impact both local and global communities.
