Mattu University has proudly graduated 35 students from its STEM Center after successfully completing intensive training in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
During the graduation ceremony, Dr. Bedilu Teka, Vice President for Academic, Research, Technology Transfer, and Community Service, emphasized the importance of STEM education in shaping the future of students and the nation. He stated that the training equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage with the global community and advance their professional competence.
“The country at large needs you,” he remarked, encouraging the graduates to apply their knowledge responsibly and contribute to national development.
Dr. Bedilu further highlighted that engineering expertise, technological advancement, and innovation are crucial pillars for Ethiopia’s sustainable development. He congratulated the graduates on their achievements and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to continuing such impactful training programs.
In addition, he expressed his appreciation to the trainers and organizers for their dedication and hard work in making the program successful. He encouraged the graduates to translate the knowledge and skills gained during the training into practical solutions that will benefit the country, particularly in the areas of technology and innovation.
